The Interest Decision Overdue tab takes Offer Facilitators to the Confirmation of Interest: Decision Overdue page. This is where Offer Facilitators, in consultation with Hiring Managers, may exercise flexibility to grant or deny a one-time deadline extension to candidates who were selected through inspira and who have missed the initial 7-day deadline to submit a decision on their continued interest in the position through the My Onboarding portal. Refer to My Onboarding Portal Job Aid for more information on the portal for candidates selected through inspira and the process for confirming their interest online.
When an applicant is selected in inspira for a job opening, the automated inspira selection notification to the applicant asks for their expression of continued interest in and availability for the position in their inspira account. The applicant is instructed to log into the My Onboarding portal in inspira and use this portal to confirm or decline their continued interest in the position. As indicated in the selection notification, the candidate will have seven days from receipt of the notification to respond and submit their decision.
If the candidate does not confirm or decline their continued interest in the position in the My Onboarding portal within the initial 7-day deadline, the case moves into the inspira OM module under the Interest Decision Overdue tab, Confirmation of Interest: Decision Overdue page where the Offer Facilitators, in consultation with Hiring Managers, may grant or deny a one-time deadline extension to candidates.

For now, only cases where candidates have been selected through inspira and have missed the initial 7-day deadline will appear in this tab. For selections outside of inspira, confirmation of continued interest in the position is done offline.
