This option is initiated by the organization and is generally based on operational circumstances related to the specific position.

  1. Select the Applicable Reason from the drop-down menu.
    Example: The applicant is selected, and the offer has been issued, but the mission was downsized due to a change of circumstances in the respective country of the duty station. Given the upcoming closure of the mission, the office no longer needs the position.


  2. Enter a comment with specifics of the reason the offer is being cancelled.
  3. Click Submit to submit all data changes.
  4. Click OK to confirm that you wish to submit all the changes.

Always inform the applicant that the job offer is being cancelled before making any changes in Manage Disposition Status, as the applicant’s application history will automatically be updated, and this decision is irrevocable.
