This Manual serves as the step-by-step guide for all staff working in Human Resources (HR), Service Centres or administration responsible for the steps involved in onboarding of new and former staff members, or movement of currently serving United Nations Secretariat staff members using the inspira OM Module. It documents the offer management process and aims to ensure that processes relating to onboarding and the movement of staff are carried out in a consistent manner throughout the Secretariat.
Compliance with the procedures set out in this document is expected to standardize and thereby ensure a consistent and uniform administrative treatment of candidates deployed to or moved between UN Secretariat entities and to increase efficiency of all related staff onboarding actions and movements.
For purposes of this Manual, the term applicant is interchangeable with the term candidate.
