This section provides Human Resources practitioners with step-by-step Instructions for using the inspira Offer Management module (OM Module). It should be read in conjunction with chapters 1 to 16 of this Manual, which set forth the applicable policy and process guidance related to onboarding and staff movements.

Resulting from the ongoing HRSD-led Onboarding Process Improvement Project, new functionalities have been introduced in the inspira OM Module. Some of these new functionalities, including related supplementary fields/features apply to offer management cases initiated for inspira selections only.

These functionalities are :

  • Candidate My Onboarding Portal
  • Online Confirmation of Interest
  • Online Release Request
  • Online Offer

In the coming months, these functionalities, including the supplementary fields/features, will be made available for non-inspira selections.

Until such time, please note that the workflow for inspira and non-inspira cases diverge at certain steps, and instructions are provided for each workflow when necessary. This also means that, for now, certain fields/features available for inspira selections may not be available for non-inspira selections.

In order to proceed with processing an offer management case in the inspira OM Module, the Offer Facilitator is required to initiate an offer management case. Refer to Cases to be Initiated Tab.

The following sections provide detailed instructions on processing the onboarding or staff movement of selected candidates in the inspira OM Module. Refer to Onboarding and Staff Movement Process – Overview for a higer-level descritption of the workflow.

Once an onboarding case is initiated, it follows a series of 11 steps which are inter-linked and build on previous steps – entries made in earlier steps are brought forward to the succeeding steps, and new fields are enabled as the onboarding case progresses.

The following section provides instructions for processing offer management cases that do not lead to a candidate reporting for duty:
