Category settings

CategoryID
Field for registration of the Category ID. Impleo Web is automaticly generating this value.

Category Name
Field for registration of a name for the category. This field may contain any characters, maximum length: 50 characters. Category name is the only mandatory filed for adding a new category.

Alias
Field for registration of an alias for the category. Information stored in “Alias” makes it easier for System Administrators to maintain an overview of the categories. The search field show information stored in this field in parenthesis next to the category name.
Information stored in Alias is only visible to System Administrators.

Sort Priority
Field for registration of the categories sorting priority. 99 is the standard value for this field.
Categories are sorted based on the number stored in Sort Priority. In case of equal Sort Priority the categories are sorted alphabeticaly. Impleo Web shows the Sort Priority in front of the category name to System administrators when logged in.

Kategoribeskrivelse
Field for registration of a description for the category.
Category description is used to give a description of the content of the category. Category description is shown to customers, and the description is ment to give the customer more information regarding the contents of the category.
Category Description may contain any characters, maximum length: 1000 characters. This field supports HTML tags.

Access to remaining category settings
In order to gain access to the remaining category settings, the category has to be saved. Save the category by clicking the “Save” button.
