How to Enable Resume Parsing in Dynamics ATS

You can also configure the skill parsing functionality to specify which skills will be associated with a candidate when their profile is parsed, as well as which specific skills will be linked to a job or opportunity.

To do this, go to ‘ATS Settings’ in the sidebar and select ‘Behavior’ in the Settings section.

Scroll down to the Parsing Section and check ‘Enable Smart Parsing.’

Then open the dropdown menu and select the entity you want to configure (Contact, Opportunities, or Jobs).

Next, choose the option from the dropdown menu that best suits your needs:

• Never Parse Skills
• Parse All Skills
• Only Group 1 Skills
• Only Group 2 Skills
• Only Group 3 Skills

You also can enable the multi-parsing skill behavior by marking the checkbox. If you do that, you can select more than one group of skills.

Finally, press ‘Save’ and ‘Publish.’

*Once the field is available on the tenant, a checkbox will be displayed to enable multi-skill parsing behavior.
