You can allow candidates to upload files in various sections of the Candidate Portal, such as CVs, certifications, applications, awards, references, and more.

In this entry, we will walk through the certification entity example, but it applies to other entities.


When you enable attachments, candidates will be able to upload their certification files for new or existing certifications.

To do this, go to ‘Candidate Portal’ on the sidebar and press ‘Entity Configuration’.

Select the entity for which you want to enable file attachments. In this case, we select ‘Certifications.’

Scroll down and check ‘Enable Attachments.’

In the dropdown menu, you will find the name of the timeline where files will be located in the CRM. In this case, certification files only can be located in the Contact timeline**

Finally, you can allow the candidate to delete files by selecting the checkbox.

Then press ‘Save Changes’ and ‘Publish.’

**To see these attachments, the Dynamics ATS user must go to ‘Candidates’ in the sidebar and select the candidate’s name.

In the ‘Contact’ tab, you’ll find a timeline of the most recent updated files.
