To enable ‘Projects’ as an entity for use with the Set Regarding lookup in the App for Outlook, first you must to sign in Power Apps.

There, go to the Tables in the sidebar and search for the ‘Project’ table.

Open Properties and navigate to Advanced Options.

Ensure the ‘Creating new activities’ and ‘Doing a mail merge’ checkboxes are marked.

Then press Save. After saving, close the properties window.

Navigate to the Apps section, go to All, and search for Dynamics 365 for Outlook. Click the three dots (…) and select Edit.

Click the three dots again and select Switch to Classic.

Open Entities or search for dcrs_job. Locate ‘Projects,’ select it, and go Back.

‘Project’ will appear in the main section. Then, Save and Publish your changes.

To verify the changes, go to your Outlook account: Open the Set Regarding option and refresh it.

Click on the search bar and open All Records.

You will find the record type filter, including ‘Projects.’
