14.2.9.28. Add New Candidate Source Field

When you activate an integration with DynamicsATS, you must select the source that will be recorded when a candidate applies through that platform.

For example, if a candidate applies using their SEEK profile, you’ll want the source to appear as “SEEK Optimise Apply.”

If the desired source is not available in your ATS, you can create it by following these steps:

Click the Configuration icon at the top of the screen and select ‘Advanced Settings’.

There, select ‘Customization’ in the sidebar and click on ‘Customize the system.’

Open ‘Entities’ in the sidebar

There, open ‘Applications’ and select ‘Fields.’

There, click on ‘dcrs_candidatesource’ and press ‘Edit.’

In the new window, press ‘Edit.’

Press the + icon and enter the label name.

Finally, press ‘Save’ and ‘Publish.’

Then, close the window. You will see the ‘Source Application’ screen.’ Press ‘Save.’

Then, return to DynamicsATS. In the sidebar, go to ‘Job Portals’ and select ‘Integrations’. You will now see the new Source Application field available.

*The Candidate Source field is a global option set. This means that any changes made to the option set values from the Application table will automatically reflect in the Source field on the Contact table. As a result, when a candidate is created for the first time, the selected source will be accurately recorded in the Contact record.
