14.2.7.1.1. Render as Plain – Client Portal Fields

‘Render as Plain’ is an option available exclusively for multiline text fields. When selected, the field will display as a standard text field, without any rich text editor controls or formatting options.

For example, you can find this option in the ‘Profile Summary’ field. If you don’t select the ‘Render As a Plain Text’ option, the field will be shown in the client portal form like this:

But if you mark ‘Render as Plain Text’, the field will be shown in the client portal form like this:

*Remember to press ‘Save,’ then ‘Save Changes,’ and finally ‘Publish’ to see the changes reflected in your Client Portal.”
