To begin, navigate to the configuration icon and select ‘Advanced Settings.’
Next, click ‘Settings’ and select ‘Customizations.’
Then enter ‘Click Customizations.’
Select the Account entity and go to the ‘1:N (one-to-many) relationships’ section.
In this example, we want to prevent all previous owner’s records from automatically being reassigned to the new owner when ownership changes.
Within this section, you will find all the child activities (like notes) associated with the account. Mark the checkbox to select it.
On the ‘Relationship Behavior’ section select ‘Configurable Cascading’ on the Type of Behavior dropdown menu.
On the ‘Assing’, ‘Share’, ‘Unshare’, and ‘Reparent’ dropdown menus select ‘Cascade None’.
Then ‘Save and Close.’
These changes need to be applied to each relevant entity and activity type individually. For instance, you can do this for* tasks, phone calls, notes, and emails.*
To do this, field these child activities (like phone calls) associated with the account. Mark the checkbox to select it and repeat the process.
