A candidate record can be created in Dynamics ATS through different actions in LinkedIn Recruiter. Some of these actions include:
- Candidate Created with ATS Sidebar and InMailed.
InMails will not show up in the timeline until a connection is made with LinkedIn Recruiter or the candidate responds to the InMail. This could also create a duplicate candidate record. - LinkedIn Recruiter 1-Click Export
The candidate is created in the ATS using the Recruiter 1-Click Export, and then InMailed, all InMails will appear in the timeline.
- Candidate Record Auto-Created Due to InMail Response
When a candidate responds to a LinkedIn InMail, the InMails will appear in the timeline.
- Manually Created Candidate then InMailed
InMails will not show up in the timeline until the LinkedIn Recruiter connection is established with the profile. This might also create a duplicate candidate record.
After the candidate responds to or accepts an InMail, a contact record will be created in the ATS, and the InMail will appear in the timeline. Some candidates have privacy settings that prevent the auto-creation of profiles or export of their profiles to the ATS.
