This section describes the behaviour of the system when there are more than a Job at any time for a property.
For certain Job types (e.g. Re Inspection, Encapsulation and Removal) if there are two jobs created for the same property, as soon as one of the records is updates the same record is locked in the other job.
For example:
For Property with UPRN 1000 there are two Removal Jobs in progress. Let’s assume the property has the following information:
Job 1
Inspection No | Floor | Room | Element | Result |
1 | Ground Floor | Room 01 | Ceiling | Asbestos |
2 | Ground Floor | Room 01 | Floor | Asbestos |
3 | Ground Floor | Room 01 | Panel | Asbestos |
Job 2
Inspection No | Floor | Room | Element | Result |
1 | Ground Floor | Room 01 | Ceiling | Asbestos |
2 | Ground Floor | Room 01 | Floor | Asbestos |
3 | Ground Floor | Room 01 | Panel | Asbestos |
As soon as the user of Job 1 edits the Inspection 2, the same inspection is no longer editable in Job 2.
