Jobs can be created in a bulk in JMS using an Excel template. The template has all the fields of the Job Request. The job information needs to be provided in every column i.e. there should not be any empty cell in any row. Information on each row will create one job. This is how the Excel template looks:

(Please note that the Job Upload Template has more fields then it is shown on the screenshot. This is en example snapshot.

1. Some fields are text fields and needs to be typed in valid values.
2. Some fields are needed to be selected from the dropdown value. These dropdowns are configured as per the client’s configuration.

The following are the fields that are in the template. As mentioned above every cell of each row requires value to be able to load the data. Without it the Job Upload will fail.

  1. Project Name – This is to specify the name of the project in JMS. A user with Admin rights should be able to get the project name from the Setup section of JMS. If the Project name does not match with the JMS project, the job upload will fail.
  2. Job Type – The Job Type is the types of job that user can create in JMS. This is dropdown value.
  3. Accepted – This is a Dropdown field, if ‘Yes’ is selected here the Job Status will be ‘Assigned’.
  4. Property ID – This is the unique property reference number. The job will only be created if the unique property reference number supplied on the template exists in the database.
  5. Caveats – This is a free text entry. User can type in any caveats require for the job.
  6. Works Required (Text) – This is a free text entry. User can type in what areas are covered in this job.
  7. Works Required (Value) – This is a Dropdown field. These are the second level of Job. Multiple selection can be made in this dropdown.
  8. Tenant Name – This is a free text entry. User can Type in the name of Tenant.
  9. Tenant Number – This is a free number entry. If there is no Phone number then just enter ‘0’.
  10. Customer Info – This is a free text entry. Any info regarding customer can be entered here.
  11. Vulnerable – This is a Dropdown field. User can select ‘Yes’ or ‘No’.
  12. Password – This is a Dropdown field. User can select ‘Yes’ or ‘No’.
  13. Priority – This is a Dropdown field. User needs to select from the option of dropdowns.
  14. Start Due Date – The date when the job is due to start. The date has to be entered in dd/mm/yyyy format.
  15. Completion Due Date – The date when the job due to be completed. The date has to be entered in dd/mm/yyyy format.
  16. Start Date – This is the actual start date. The date has to be entered in dd/mm/yyyy format.
  17. Complete Date – This is the actual start date. The date has to be entered in dd/mm/yyyy format.
  18. Created By – The person who is creating the job request.
  19. Requested By – The person who has requested the job.
  20. Phone – The Phone number of the Requester.
  21. Email – The email address of the Requester.
  22. Workstream – This is a dropdown field.
  23. Referral Date – The date when the job has been referred. The date has to be entered in dd/mm/yyyy format.
  24. Coordinator – The full name of the user who is the coordinator of the job has to be entered here. Please note that the user MUST exist in the system.
  25. Service Provider – This is a dropdown field. The name of the service provider has to be selected from the dropdown.
  26. External Job Ref – This is a free text entry. Any external job reference number can be entered here.
  27. Cost – User can enter the cost of the job.
  28. Expenditure Code – This is a free text entry. user can enter any expenditure code here.
  29. Additional Info – This is free text entry.User can enter any additional info.
