v2.4 – Brain

New Features

With the release of version 2.4 we have added new BRAINware hardware. This hardware is a server based hardware without IO. There are three types of KC Server hardware:

• KC-BRAINware-5 – The KC5 hardware supports up to 5 BRAINware Brains per site
• KC-BRAINware-25 – The KC25 hardware supports up to 25 BRAINware Brains per site
• KC-BRAINware-50 – The KC50 hardware supports up to 50 BRAINware Brains per site

Corrections

• Corrected an issue where the forced_active_offline state was not persisted after hardware reboot

Kramer UI Webpage Improvements

• Added Diagnostic tab which includes
  • Log file download
  • Watchdog log file download
  • Log monitor
  • Test WAN connection
• Brain Actions – these are actions performed on the Brain for troubleshooting purposes
  • Clear Cache
  • Clear Logs
  • Restart
  • Sync
  • Active Offline
    • Enable or Disable this option
  • Sync on WAN restore
    • Choose from one of the three options that appear
  • Data Reset on Publish
    • Enable or Disable this option
• Upload/Publish
  • New feature for Offline Publishing!

Known Issues

• Brains running versions prior to 2.2.2 will need to be updated to at least 2.2.2 in order to have changes published to the Space
