Using the KT-1010 – Settings, Tips & Tricks

Accessing the Home Page and Settings

To access the Settings, you must first navigate to the Home Page and then you will be able to select the Settings app.

1. Press the round ‘Menu’ button on the top back of the KT-1010 & enter password ‘Kramer’
   
2. Select ‘Home Page’
3. Select the ‘Settings’ button

Changing Time Zone

In order to get the KT-1010 to properly display the local time-zone, you will need to enter the settings and adjust the date & time.

!You MUST set the time zone or else risk functionality issues with Kronomeet, Kramer Control and KramerAppUpdate

1. Press the round ‘Menu’ button on the top back of the KT-1010 & enter password ‘Kramer’
   
2. Select ‘Home Page’
3. Select the ‘Settings’ button
4. Scroll down to the ‘System’ section of the Settings
5. Select ‘Date & Time’
6. Disable ‘Automatic time zone’ by tapping on the toggle switch
7. Tap ‘Select time zone’
   1. This will allow you to choose your local time zone
8. You can choose to re-enable ‘Automatic time zone’ if you wish (your time zone choice will still remain as you have selected)

Navigation Bar

The navigation bar allows the user to swipe up from the bottom of the screen while in apps in order to access system buttons (Back, Home Page, Open Apps).
The navigation bar by default is disabled. With the navigation bar disabled you must have access to the round ‘Menu’ button on the top back of the KT-1010.

*When the ‘Navigation bar’ is visible, any user that swipes up from the bottom of the screen will be able to gain access to the settings of the KT-1010. USE WITH CAUTION!

1. Press the round ‘Menu’ button on the top back of the KT-1010 & enter password ‘Kramer’
   
2. Select ‘Home Page’
3. Select the ‘Settings’ button
4. Scroll down to the ‘Device’ section of the Settings
5. Select ‘Display’
6. Tap on ‘Hide Status Bar’ toggle switch to enable the Navigation bar

Creating Menu Button Pin-hole in top of KT-1010 Dock

!CAUTION – USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Kramer is not responsible for any damage done should you choose to add the pin-hole. Modifying the Dock in any way will VOID the warranty of the dock and if done incorrectly could cause damage to the KT-1010 itself.

In order to access the ‘Menu’ button when the KT-1010 is installed into the dock there are two different options. Option 1 is to unscrew the KT-1010 and remove it from the dock, press the button, and then re-install the KT-1010 in the dock. Option 2 is to put a paperclip sized hole in the top of the KT-1010 dock in just the right spot so that you can simply use a paperclip to press the ‘Menu’ button when needed.

1. Remove the KT-1010 from the dock completely
2. Measure out according to the measurements in the below photo

*When measuring from the front, measure along the angle of the top of the dock. When measuring from the right, measure at the front of the dock. When drilling, you must drill at the same angle as the front of the dock.
