Overview

With the release of version 2.10, we have updated the look and function of the Kramer Control Dashboard. Below is a screenshot of what the updated landing screen shows when you open the new Dashboard.

Theme Toggle

We have added a button in the top right corner of the dashboard for you to toggle between a light and dark theme. The default is a dark theme, but if you prefer the white background, you can press this button and change to the light theme.

Space Monitoring

The Space Monitoring tab shows new information for Brain status, Room in use, and Alert subscription

Brain Status

By polling the Brain information page, we will update this field within the dashboard to indicate whether the Brain is online and ready for use

Room In Use

By adding the Set System Use command from the System Device in the Builder, you can indicate when the Space is in use. This icon will change color when the room is in use.

Alerts

If you have programmed a state change event in the Builder to trigger an Alert to the Dashboard, this tab is where those Alerts will appear. You will see a timestamp and description of the alert, and you also have the option to export this list.

Error Events

If your Brain has an error logged during use, this error will appear inside the Alerts section of the Dashboard

Space Info

Space usage information in the form of graphs and charts will appear inside this tab. You can change the data time to be 24 hours, 1 week, or 1 month.

You can also customize the layout of the space info. By selecting Customize Dashboard, then using your mouse you can re-arrange chart locations and sizes.

Alert Definitions

Within the Kramer Control Builder, you can define an event to trigger based on a state change or update. Within that event there is an option to notify the dashboard of this change. If you have created an event, and enabled this option, you will see those list of alerts within this tab of the updated Dashboard

From here, you can define the alert more by using the drop downs and text fields. You can see in the image above, we are using the Kramer API device driver, to watch for a Brain state change to active_offline. Since this site is supposed to be online 100% of the time, we would want to be notified if that state changes to offline for any reason.
