How to: Create a Phone book Overlay

Overview

The process below describes the setup requirements within Kramer Control to create a Virtual rolodex for DSP devices.

Process

Add Frame to Page

• If you have not yet created Frames and Overlays – You can find more information here

• The size and location of the Frame is unique to the Programmer and interface. This could be a full page, or smaller area within a page.

Change the Overlay size of the Frame to scroll

Create Overlay content for Frame

• The example we are showing uses a combination of Frames within both pages and Overlays.

We created a home overlay where the end user will start their search by selection a location for the call

Within the location buttons, we are not executing any commands to the DSP – instead we are using Update Properties to change the content that is loaded within the Frame

Create Contact Overlay

Add as many contacts as needed for the location

Add dial code for location

• The extra content shown in the command includes Update Properties to close the contact overlay from view and return the user to the proper control page/overlay
