A height attribute can be added to elements. This allows for a 3D visual representation of material and object thickness.
Generally, height is most useful when added to continuous elements such as closed polylines, rectangles, circles, and elipses. To convert an object to polyline, see Single Elements to Polyline
To add a height to an object:
- Select the object, In PC mode, left click on the object. In Touch Mode, use the ‘Select objects’ tool to First select the object.
- From the properties pane, select ‘Height’ and add the desired thickness according to the units of the drawing. Positive values will add the height towards you, while negative will add the height away from you.
- See the results in 3D by viewing the root/project folder.
