Area/length stamp

Calculate the Area and Length of elements simultaneously by selecting Area/Length Stamp from the ‘Dimensions’ ribbon, or right-click for the ‘Area/length’ stamp shortcut.

Place a text stamp for an individual element, or select multiple elements to stamp the total area and length of the selected elements.

To use the Area/Length Stamp:

1. Select ‘Area/Length Stamp’ tool from the ‘Dimension’ ribbon
2. Click/tap to select all the elements, or use the contextual selection options at the top left of the screen to select the elements by selection window or colour.
3. Confirm selection with ‘Confirm’ or ‘Enter’
4. Click/tap, enter coordinates, or measure to place the area/length stamp on the page.

* Note that in some earlier versions of software elements must be joined into polylines in order to display the area (square feet) of the elements.
