Exporting grandMA Series 1 Data

To export the data from the grandMA Series 1, you will need to use the Report command.

You can type the command directly on the consoles command line or if you don’t already have a quick key for this, you will could create one.

On the grandMA:

1. Enter the command: Report Channel and press the Enter key.

2. A window will appear with report data. Click the Save button.You will be prompted to a location to save the report file (tested on grandMA OnPC).

3. You will find a ‘report.tar.gz’ file in the location you specified.

4. Save this file to a USB memory stick (or if using a virtual machine such as Parallels, drag it to the macOS Finder).

5. The report file is now ready for importing into the application.

*The ‘report.tar.gz’ file is an archive containing .csv (comma separated value) files. On macOS you can uncompress the archive by double clicking on it, and a folder containing the file will be extracted. It is possible to import these files one at a time into the application, but importing the archive is much faster and easier.
