The ACPE Board of Directors has charged the PWB Committee to develop new programs to engage members and alumni in the work of spiritual health and personal growth, collaborating with staff and volunteers. This includes both the care of educators and those educated by supporting existing programs and creating new ones.

The committee:

  • Provides oversight and develops best practices for professional consultation, peer review, support, collegiality, spiritual care and wellness of members and alumni.
  • Ensure core values of diversity and inclusion in practices throughout the association.
  • Develop criteria for support, nurturing and funding communities of practice, including current networks, in collaboration with area managers.

One way in which this charge will be achieved, is through the development of CoPs in ACPE.
