A typical MIPAR Checkpoint Server setup uses three types of user accounts: Analysis, Sign-off, and Admin. Analysis accounts create new projects and perform analysis. Sign-off accounts view results and approve projects. Analysis and Sign-off accounts use Client installations. Admin accounts manage the MIPAR Checkpoint Server and set up other users.

User accounts and account types are configured in the MIPAR Checkpoint Server. Once an account type is configured, it can be assigned to a user. At any time, the permissions assigned to an account type and the types assigned to an account can be changed.

*Other setups are possible, for example combining Signoff and Admin responsibilities into a single account type or restricting project creation to supervisors.

!To restrict data export, the “Check Out (non-editable)” permission can be withheld from Analysis users
