Similar to the Twirl distort effect but with additional displacement and vortex controls for pinching and stretching the affected area.

  • Angle: Determines how far the image is rotated, in degrees, within the warp area. You can also drag the double-sided arrow on the viewer to adjust this property visually.
  • Center: Assigns the exact center location of the vortex displacement warp within the frame.
    • Position: Specifies the center position using X (horizontal) and Y (vertical) coordinates.
    • Use Layer: Use the position of another layer to define the center position.
  • Radius: Sets the size of the warp area, as a radius from the center point. You can also drag the gray circle on the viewer to edit this property visually.
  • Depth: Adjusts the apparent distance from the viewer to the bottom of the vortex.
  • Wrap: Select the method used to fill areas beyond the edges of the source layer.
    • No: No fill is used.
    • Tile: An exact copy of the source layer is placed alongside the original, to fill empty areas.
    • Reflect: A reflected copy of the source layer is placed alongside the original, to fill empty areas.
    • Clamp: The color values from the edge pixels are stretched outward to the edge of the layer.
  • Distortion Map: Use these controls to define the distortion area using a second layer.
    • Source Layer: Select another layer to constrain the distortion to the selected layer’s shape.
    • Blur: Applies a blur to the distortion map, to soften the edges of the selection.
    • Channel: Select which channel of the source layer is used as the distortion map.
    • Invert: Reverses the selection created from the source layer.
