Creates a range of light streaks based on the source layer. Ideal for creating the kind of lens aberrations caused by anamorphic lenses.

  • Preset: Choose from a variety of built-in presets, each of which gives you a predefined set of values for the effect controls. These can be used as-is, or as a starting point for further adjustments.
  • Brightness: Adjusts the intensity of the streaks.
  • Scale Colors: The amount of each color channel within the streaks can be modified, to alter the color of the streaks. The original colors in the source layer are scaled within the streak results.
  • Threshold: Streaks are generated based on the brightest areas of the layer This property defines the brightness value above which areas will be included.
  • Size: Determines the overall length of all rays that make up the streaks.
  • Blend: Select the blend mode used to composite the streaks onto the underlying layer.
  • Mask: Select a layer whose shape will be used as a mask for the streak generation.
  • Channel Size: Control the degree to which each color channel is represented in the streaks.
    • Red: Increase of decrease the amount of red in the streaks.
    • Green: Increase of decrease the amount of green in the streaks.
    • Blue: Increase of decrease the amount of blue in the streaks.
  • Number of Rays: Specify the number of rays you want to be included in the effect.
  • Ray # (Each ray will have its own number and duplicate controls): Adjust the settings for each individual ray, independently of the other rays.
    • Brightness: Adjusts the intensity of the ray.
    • Size: Determines the length of the individual ray.
    • Angle: Use the rotation wheel to change the angle of the ray.
