Two small boat storage racks will be constructed near the boat trailer parking lot.

Initially, there will be a total of twelve storage rack spaces available for rent.

Each registered unit owner (household) in GlenRiddle will have the opportunity to rent one numbered space on the small boat storage rack.

A $40.00 administrative fee will be assessed annually for each rack space.

The annual rental period will run from February 15 to October 31st.

Rack space will be allocated on a lottery basis if the demand exceeds availability.

Additional racks may be constructed pending demand and funding.

The GlenRiddle Community Association Inc. will not be held liable for any boats stored on the rack. Owners store boats at their own risk.

General Rules

1. Applications for rack space will be accepted each year from January 1st thru January 31st. A $40.00 check made out to the GlenRiddle Community Association Inc. must be included with the application. Applicants will be required to sign an HOA responsibility waiver.

2. Management will assign a numbered rack space. Rack spaces will be numbered A-l through A-6 and B-l through B-6.

3. If applications exceed available rack space in the first year of operation, management will hold a public lottery to determine who will be awarded the first twelve slots and establish a waiting list. Once the initial list has been established, subsequent applications will be added to the list in the order that they are received.

4. Once rack space is assigned it will automatically be renewed the following year provided the holder submits the $40 annual fee and any outstanding balances due to the GlenRiddle Home Owners Association by the January 31st deadline.

5. If a rack space holder does not submit the $40 annual fee by the January 31st deadline then management will automatically assign the space to the next applicant on the waiting list.

6. Management will issue a registration sticker for each small boat. Stickers must be prominently displayed on boats in an area that is easily visible when the boat is on the storage rack.

7. Boats may be stored on racks from February 15th through October 31st. There will be a $10.00 per day charge for boats left on the rack after October 31st.

8. Only non-motorized vessels may be stored on the racks. Storage will be limited to kayaks, canoes, rowing shells, paddleboards, and sailboards.

9. A maximum of two boats may be stored on each numbered rack space. The combined weight of boats stored on each numbered space shall not exceed 200 pounds.

10. Paddles, life vests, and other small accessories may not be stored with the boat.

11. Boats must be stored on racks bottom up so as not to accumulate and hold water.

12. Boats must be secured to the rack with cable and lock to prevent unauthorized use.

13. Covers, if used, must be secured.

14. Boat insurance is suggested but not mandatory.

15. Any violation of these rules may cause for loss of rack storage privileges. Rules shall be enforced by the Covenants Committee.
