Permanent, freestanding flagpoles are acceptable for single-family detached dwelling units only and must be installed and maintained in a vertical position.

The height is limited to a maximum of 16’, color is limited to black, and the location of the flagpole must be consistent with the size of the lot and scale and design qualities of the dwelling unit.

A maximum of one temporary flagpole staff, which does not exceed six feet in length and is attached to the wall or pillar of the dwelling unit is allowed and does not require the approval of the Architectural Control Committee.
