Exterior surfaces of dwelling units shall be constructed with quality materials.
Hardiplank, Cemplank, or equal product is required.
No vinyl or metal siding is permitted.
All siding should be horizontal except for special architectural treatments.
The Architectural Control Committee may consider special exceptions.
No more than two materials shall be allowed on any facade (not including trim or foundation).
There should be a single dominant material for the facade walls of each dwelling unit with compatible materials used for subordinate parts or elements.
Materials shall not change at an arbitrary location on the wall surface.
Exterior colors must be approved by the Architectural Control Committee and include a full palette showing siding, roofing, trim, etc.
Extreme variations in brick colors shall not be used.
A variety of both light and medium earth tones are allowed, but vibrant hues will be subject to strict Architectural Control Committee review.
Excessive use of white and cream siding colors tends to whitewash the streetscape; therefore, medium-toned, as well as light siding colors, are encouraged in a balanced proportion.
