A. SITING AND ORIENTATION
THE SITING OF DWELLING UNITS AND OTHER STRUCTURES SHALL MINIMIZE GRADING AND ACCOMMODATE DRAINAGE REQUIREMENTS.
THE SITING OF DWELLING UNITS IN RELATION TO THE STREET IS VERY IMPORTANT IN REGARDS TO THE IMAGE AND AESTHETIC APPEARANCE OF THE COMMUNITY.
EACH DWELLING UNIT SHOULD BE LOCATED ON ITS LOT TO SAVE MAJOR TREES AND PROVIDE VARIETY AND VISUAL PRIVACY.
IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT DWELLING UNIT SITING PLANS BE DETERMINED FOR AN ENTIRE SECTION OF THE COMMUNITY ON A BLOCK BY BLOCK BASIS INSTEAD OF ONE LOT AT A TIME.
The orientation of the dwelling unit may be adjusted to accommodate the lot shape; however, dwelling unit orientation preferably should be parallel to the street.
Dwelling units sited on key corner lots in certain areas shall be oriented in the direction of the rest of its neighbors.
The Architectural Control Committee may give consideration to alternative dwelling unit designs oriented to the side street.
In no case shall dwelling units be oriented diagonally to the comer.
There may also be other lots, such as those adjoining squares and greens, which will be given special considerations for dwelling unit orientation.
No two adjacent, diagonal, or opposite dwelling units may contain the same color scheme, or exact elevation
