The Architectural Control Committee must approve all play equipment (e.g., sandboxes, climbing structures, swing sets, playhouses, etc.).

The following factors will govern approval of such equipment:

Location

The location shall be the rear of the home and inside the plane of the rear corners of the lot, such that visual and noise impact upon adjoining Properties is minimized.

Screening may be required as determined by the Architectural Control Committee.

Front and side yard locations are not permitted.

Size and Design

The size and design of the equipment should be compatible with the size and shape of the lot.

The maximum height for any play equipment shall be twelve feet.

Finish

Finish may be wood, plastic, or metal.

If made of wood, it should be left to weather naturally or painted a dark green or dark brown.

Plastic play equipment should be in muted colors.

Metal play equipment, not including wearing surfaces (e.g., slides, sliding poles, and climbing rungs) should be painted dark green or dark brown to blend with natural areas.

Prohibited Equipment

Treehouses are prohibited.

Trampolines are prohibited.

Skateboard ramps in residential areas of the Property are prohibited.
