6.2.2.2. 2. Tree Removal Guidance

Owner shall submit application for review to the ACC for removal of trees indicating reason for requested removal (Dead, Diseased, Dying or Threat to Home).

Any application for a diseased or dying tree will require an Arboricultural Report to support the request.

If lot falls within Critical Area: Request is referred to Worcester County.

If lot does NOT fall within Critical Area: ACC reviews the request for the following criteria:

• Dead: Once agreed, ACC will approve removal with no replacement

• Diseased or Dying: Arboricultural Support Required, ACC will approve removal with no replacement

• Threat to Home: If approval is granted, replacement shall follow the guidelines as outlined above.
