Except for fences surrounding pools (see rules below) and in certain areas of screening (as approved by the ACC), the use of fencing is prohibited.

Instead, Dwelling Units visible to the street or public places should use landscaping where necessary for privacy to block views from the street or public places.

Fencing for construction purposes will be permitted on a temporary basis.

Criteria for approved fencing:

All fencing must be attractive, well designed, well constructed, and compatible with the architecture of the dwelling unit.

Gates shall match the design, material, and color of the associated fence.

All fence posts shall have finished tops or caps.

No fencing is permitted closer to the front of any lot than the front plane of the dwelling unit.

Rear fencing on lots bordering the golf course is prohibited, so the installation of pools on those lots may also be precluded.

All fence tops shall be level and fence panels shall step with grade.

The finished side of the fence shall face the street or exterior of the dwelling unit.

Stockade or board on board fencing is prohibited.

“Open type” fencing is recommended.

All fences surrounding pools must comply with applicable State or County safety regulations.
