Alter your property’s exterior, you must submit a request to the Architectural Control Committee (ACC) and pay an application fee.

What can we erect, maintain, or use on our property?
You will need the ACC’s or the Board’s prior written approval if you want to have any of the following on your property: signs or advertising devices (except permitted real estate sales signs), atrium, tent, trailer, shack, barn, pen, kennel, stable, storage shed, or temporary structure of any kind. Written approval is also required for decorative lawn ornaments, a fence, or a doghouse if these are visible from the street or another residence.

Have above ground utilities
Except for hoses and the like which are reasonably necessary for collection with normal lawn maintenance, no hose, water pipe, sewer pipe, gas pipe, drainage pipe, television cable, or another similar transmission line shall be installed or maintained upon any Living Unit above the surface of the ground, unless such installation is approved in writing by the ACC, or is required by the servicer or provider of any utility, including, without limitation, power, water, sewer, gas, and cable television.

Can we have a window air conditioning unit?
Except as may be permitted by the ACC, no window air conditioning units may be installed in any residence.

Attach awnings to your house
Awnings may be appropriate for rear or side-yard patios and decks. Awnings must be consistent with the Architectural Style and scale of the dwelling unit to which they will be attached. The color of the fabric must be compatible with the existing colors of the dwelling units and must be replaced as the color fades or material becomes weathered, solid colors should be used rather than stripes or patterns. In most locations in the Association, metal, vinyl, or other plastic fabric shade material is prohibited. Any exposed frames must be painted to match the trim of the dominant color of the dwelling units. Frames must be removed if the awning is removed.

Hang window treatments
You cannot hang or place in or on any window in your house bed sheets, plastic sheets, tablecloths, towels, newspapers, or other similar window treatments.

I want to erect a fence or wall around my lot
You will need the Board’s (or the ACC’s) written approval.

Build an attached or detached garage
You must apply to the Architectural Control Committee (ACC) and incorporate the design, materials, and colors of your house.
