The View dimension supports the posting of adjustment data in Cubix, either directly to a particular cell or through the use of the journal module. Click here for more information on the journal module.
Original source data is loaded or entered into the ‘Input’ view. Adjustments are posted to the ‘Adjust’ view and the final ‘Net’ view presents the net result of input + adjustment.
ViewsThere can only be up to 3 View members and they must be named Input, Adjust and Net. You are free, however, to change the descriptions to suit your own preferences.
The inclusion of Adjust and Net views is a automatic if the Journal and/or Inter Company Balance modules are enabled. However, whilst they can still be included without these modules being enabled and utilised for the direct input of adjustments, it is recommended to remove them if they are not needed.
