Data Transfer

Cubix offers a number of functions to help with the loading and moving of data into and out of models.

There is a Copy Version feature which will copy data for selected entities from one version to another.
There is Export Data which takes selected data from a model into a .csv format flat file.
There is Import Data which takes data from a .csv format file and imports it into the model.
Channel is a utility that will take source data in a flat file format and map and convert it into a format that can be imported into Cubix.

DTU is a separately available data transfer utility that offers enhanced features over Channel, including the ability to connect directly to SQL Server database sources, to schedule transfers to run at certain times and to perform direct transfers between two Cubix models.
