Adding Users

When you create a Cubix model for your own personal use, you can choose to use the Designer Username as you login ID or you can add a specific user ID for that purpose.

If you want to share the model with other Cubix users by creating it on a shared network location, you will need to add a user ID for each user who will be accessing the model.

From the main model editor screen, click on the Users icon.

Add the number of users you require, giving each one a unique name, an appropriate description and optionally, a password. Your users will then be able to log on to the generated model using the IDs you have created.

!The adding of other user IDs relates to shared access to generated models. This is different to having joint design ownership of a model. (See Joint Ownership)
