Currency View

The currency view defines which currency data is being viewed at any time.

Currency View

All models, even those not using the currency module, will have a Local Currency view. This shows the entity data as loaded in it’s original currency.

Models using the currency module will also have a Base Currency view. This shows the data in the defined reporting currency for the model. The currency to be used as the base currency should be selected from a list of the available currencies.

Further currency views can be added, each with a different default currency, and these will show all data converted to that particular currency using the appropriate exchange rates.

*When the currency module is enabled, consolidated entities only show data for the Base Currency and any additional currency views. It is not valid to show consolidated local currency data.
