Using a browser is the quickest and easiest way of viewing and interacting with data in a Cubix model.

A browser is an Excel sheet with an underlying live link to the Cubix database. It allows you to pick and choose which dimensions from your model are displayed in columns and rows in the sheet, and which individual dimension members are shown. It displays all the selected data as values in the sheet yet retains dynamic links to the underlying model so that at any time, the content of the browser can be changed and refreshed and, where the model structure permits, the data can be drilled in to.

Example of a browser

If a user has the appropriate access rights, they can also use a browser to input and update data values.
