What is Cubix?
Cubix is a powerful Financial & Performance Management, Planning and Business Analysis system. It uses a multi-dimensional database structure with inbuilt financial and forecasting functionality, to enable you to design and build reporting and BI applications tailored to your exact requirements.
Fundamental to any Cubix system is the database model. The model is where you define the shape of your database as well as any calculation logic that you want to apply to your data. Once the model has been created, data can be entered or imported to any combination of the elements in the database.
With Cubix it is very easy to analyse and report on the large amounts of data that can be stored in its models. From within Excel, Cubix allows you to view, calculate, drill into and if necessary, update and change any of the data.
The multi-dimensional nature of a Cubix model makes it very easy to dig into your data and to look at underlying results and trends any which way you like.
