To maintain the journal numbering sequence and audit trail, it is not possible to cancel any journal except for the last on the list.
To cancel any other journal would interfere with the strict numbering system.

If you select the last journal on the list, the third button from the right will become the Delete button. If you click this, you can delete the journal.

If the selected journal is not the last on the list of journals, the same button will become the Void button. This implies that you are unable to cancel the entry, but you can make it void. It will have no effect, but it will still exist in the list and maintain the numbering sequence.

Once an entry is void it can no longer be altered in any way, although you will still be able to print and view it.

If a journal has already been posted, the Cancel and Void options will be unavailable. No further changes are possible to a posted journal.
