Global options are default settings applicable in the current model.
General
| Auto Open Database | The current model will automatically open every time you start Cubix. |
| Auto Open Browser | The last browser(link) you were viewing for the selected model will open every time you start Cubix. |
Browser Defaults
| Auto Update | Select this option to control the default behaviour for browsers. Auto Update acts as master control for the three options beneath it – if it is off, the other three options will be unavailable. |
| Auto Calculate | If selected, browsers will automatically calculate any data required for the entity and version being displayed. |
| Auto Consolidate | If selected, browsers will automatically consolidated any data required for the entity and version being displayed. |
| Auto Format | If selected browsers will be formatted when displayed. (Uses different colours to represent values that are input, calculated, consolidated, etc). |
| Use Comments | If selected, cells with comments will be identified using the default Excel comment indicator. |
| Suppress Invalid Cells | If selected, browsers will not display rows for invalid cell combinations. |
| Browsers Folder | Select a default folder in which to store browser workbooks for this model. |
Process Handling
| Display Error Dialog | Select this to display error messages for processes that cannot be completed successfully. With this option not selected, the process will ignore errors and continue trying to complete without giving a warning. |
| Display Process Gauge | Select this option to have Cubix display a progress gauge while running certain processes. Enter a number to specify how many processes should cause a progress gauge to be displayed. |
| Record Errors to Session Log File | Select this option to have Cubix record process errors to a file. |
