If you have a number of journals that are the same each month, with the same entry lines, and even with the same values, journal templates could be very useful.
Journal templates are based on existing journals. Each time you want to raise a journal based on that template, the lines and values will be automatically populated based on the saved template. You may want to change the period and the amounts for the journal, but that will be all that is needed.
To save a journal as a template
From the Journal Status window, select an existing journal. You can click on Open to review the contents.
Click Save As Template and enter a name for this particular template that you can refer to each time you want to use it.
