The Junior Activities Chairperson oversees the following on behalf of the club:

  • Registrations
  • Club submissions
  • Pool / Beach / Competition Evaluations
  • Age Awards
  • Junior Club Reviews
  • Junior Information Nights
  • Board of Junior Activities Meetings
  • Carnivals
  • Age Managers, Officials, Observers, Endorsed Age Manager

ACCREDITATION

You will be working directly with the following supervisors who must obtain awards relating to their responsibilities prior to commencing their duties:

Age Managers
 Registered
 Age Managers Course
 Blue Card
 CYRM
 CSA
 Bronze Medallion/Cert 2 or Observers or SRC
 Age Managers Third Party Report

Officials
 Core officials or Technical Officials Course
 Blue Card
 CYRM
 CSA

Junior Activity Accreditation Officer (Assist with Junior Competency and Award assessments)
 Must be endorsed by at Club Management Committee
 Registered
 Blue Card
 CYRM
 CSA
 18 years+
 Branch advised of new endorsed Endorsed Age Manager by nominated date.

Water Safety
 Registered
 Proficient in SRC or BM
 IRB Driver and/or Crew
 Blue Card
 CRYM
 CSA

Sunday Morning Checklist
 Patrol to be operational
 Risk Assessment Complete (and assessed each hour)
 IRB Operational and on beach
 Nipper Emergency Response Kit checked
 Water Safety Sign in

  • Hi Vis rashie / Caps
     Age Managers Sign in / ratio 1:20 (Age Manager:Nippers)
  • Surfguard list of all nippers
    • Proficiency details
    • Emergency Contact
    • Health issues
       Age Assistants briefed on the session
       Radio Checks
       Nipper Sign in
  • Attendance Sheet
  • Long Sleeve
  • Pink Rashies (water use only)
