Documents should be destroyed on an as needs basis (see timeframes in the Archiving Documents section and Governance Manual – 5.12. Documentation).
Clubs are reminded that it is important any documents with identifying features including but not limited to names, DOBS, licence details, address, email addresses must be destroyed securely.
Options for secure destruction include
- Shredding
- Deidentifying documents (i.e. removing identifying details)
- Using secure document destruction services
