The three types of transfers that can be processed are:

  • Complete: Used when the member is doing a complete transfer from one club to another club.
  • Non-competition Rights: used when transferring a member to another club but keeping their competition rights with their original club. This will give the member Dual Membership at one or more clubs.
  • Competition Rights: used when moving a member’s competition rights to another club, but still retaining their membership at their original club as a non-competitor. This will give the member Dual Membership at one or more clubs.

When initiating a transfer, you can either transfer a member out of your club and into another club (Transfer Out) or choose a member from another club to transfer into your club (Transfer In).

Junior Activities Transfers:

SLSQ REGULATION 14.7 – PROTECTION OF JUNIOR ACTIVITY MEMBERS (UNDER 6 TO UNDER 14)

  1. This Regulation recognises the undesirability of the practise of club representatives approaching Junior Activity Members and/or their parents, with a proposal to change clubs.
  2. This Regulation recognises the desirability of encouraging the maintenance of club loyalties among Junior Activity Members and their parents and protecting smaller clubs from the loss of Junior Activity Members to clubs with a more dominant place in SLSA competition.
  3. It seeks to encourage and regulate the recruitment, development and retention of Junior Activity Members by clubs and as such directly or indirectly offering and/or providing financial arrangements as defined in Regulation 15.7, in return for, or on account of, a Junior Activity Member changing clubs, is deemed to be a breach of the Regulations by the Club and/or club representative making the offer and/or providing the financial arrangements.
