The incorporated certificate serves as evidence that your club or Branch exists as a separate legal entity, with its own rights and liabilities, and has been registered with ASIC. It includes details such as the Club or Branches name, ACN (Australian Company Number), date of registration, and registered office address.

This document may need to provide as proof of its registration when dealing with other organisations, such as banks, government agencies, or suppliers. The certificate is also required for a Club or Branch to open a bank account, obtain certain licenses or permits, or participate in certain business activities.

Once the Club or Branch is registered with ASIC and issued with an incorporated certificate, it must comply with various reporting and compliance requirements under the Corporations Act, such as lodging annual financial reports and notifying ASIC of any changes to the Club or Branch details.

You can find your Club or Branches incorporated certificate in Australia by completing the Incorporated Certificate Request Form
