12. How long will it take to get my Blue Card?

SLSQ links Blue Card applications submitted via the survey each business day (Monday to Friday). Any survey submissions received over the weekend will be processed on the following Monday.

Once the application has been linked to SLSQ, it is the responsibility of the member to complete their application with Blue Card Services. The member should receive an email directly from Blue Card Services with instructions to progress their application.
Once you have completed the final step with Blue Cards, the processing time may vary:

• Most applications with no criminal history or concerns are processed within 28 business days.
• Once approved, the blue card is typically sent by post and may take up to 21 days to arrive.
  

To avoid delays, start your application well in advance of beginning your volunteer or work role.
