20. Common issues with linking your Blue Card

If you have sent your details through the SLSQ survey but have not been linked, it may be because of one of the following issues.

21. Incorrect details

  • Blue Card Services only links cards when the details provided are an exact match.
  • SLSQ cannot search for or access your account; they rely on the information you provide.
  • If a mismatch occurs, you may receive an email from the SLSQ Blue Card team. Re-submit your details via the survey or email your correct blue card account number and date of birth to the team.

22. Unable to find your Member Profile on Surfguard

Before your Blue Card can be linked, SLSQ need to make sure you are a member of the Surf Club you have nominated. You may receive an email from the SLSQ Blue Card Team stating they are unable to find you on Surfguard.

23. Expired Blue Card

  • If your card expires, the link between you and SLSQ is removed. You must:
    • Register on the Blue Card Applicant Portal.
    • Provide your account number and date of birth to SLSQ to re-link.

24. Unable to find a Blue Card Account Number?

If you are unable to find your Blue Card Account Number, you can contact Blue Card Services and they will be able to provide you with it.

25. Have I been de-linked from the Blue Card Register?

  • If you have gaps in membership, your profile may have been archived, and your blue card will be de-linked.
  • To rejoin, provide your blue card details via the SLSQ survey to re-link.

If you intend to rejoin your Surf Club, you will need to re-link your blue card to SLSQ by supplying your details via SLSQ survey.
