The role of the Membership Services Department is to support the Membership Services Committee to oversee on behalf of the SLSQ Board, the development and implementation of member and leadership related activities to foster the growth and development of the membership.
The SLSQ Membership Services Committee is responsible for provision of effective leadership and support for the overall strategic development of membership services & development operations within surf lifesaving throughout Queensland to enhance participation across all demographics.
The SLSQ Membership Services committee oversees the recruitment, retention, recognition and development of members across the state. The committee works closely with the branches, clubs and other stakeholders to provide support, guidance and resources for enhancing the membership experience and ensuring the sustainability of the organisation. The committee also coordinates and delivers various programs and initiatives that aim to foster a culture of inclusion, diversity and excellence among the surf lifesaving community.
