Clubs need to maintain expectations and commitments required to various roles within Surf Lifesaving.

For an example If nippers join a surf club, their family will be invited to attend a Family Inclusion Program which covers all aspects that occur within Junior Activities. Ranging from how a nipper day is delivered to what roles parents/guardians can do to help. Resources and information on how to run a Family Inclusion Can be found on the SLSQ Website.

It is a good opportunity for our clubs to explain what roles and opportunities are available within Life Saving. The Pathways information on the app can start this discussion or refer members to the SLSQ Website, specifically the Member Opportunities page. Alternatively, for an idea of what you can do at each age demographic refer to the Member Development section.
